Motorola Xoom, which stands on the market because it is in tablet with Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS. It is actually already available but the 3G version is sold (so far) only Verizon U.S. operator. With the exception of mobile connectivity (3G/4G CDMA, unusable in Europe), Motorola Xoom WiFi is identical with its configuration and function to the first model. The tablet features a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC, 1GB RAM, 32GB of NAND Flash memory and two cameras.
The presence or absence of a GPS chip is often associated with the 3G, but it has been confirmed yet. Motorola Xoom WiFi will therefore be released in the U.S. in March 27, at a sale price of $ 599. The cost seems comparable to that of iPad (WiFi and 32GB), while the 3G model is significantly more expensive ($ 800 against $ 730).
The operating system chosen by the producer is very versatile and consists of many native applications that make it usable in many contexts. These include Google Maps 5.0 with 3D graphics, Google eBook to access several books in digital format and the market to download software and games on-the-fly.
